Montanha Prestige

Located on Rua de Leiria, in the centre of Monte Real, this historic building — formerly known as “Pensão Montanha” — is being given a new lease of life through a comprehensive renovation project.

For decades, it was a landmark in the region, welcoming visitors to the Monte Real Thermal Baths and also standing out for its catering facilities. Now, following a period of vacancy, the property is being transformed into a modern residential development, whilst retaining its identity and historical value.

The project involves the creation of 8 residential units comprising one-, two- and three-bedroom flats, spread over four floors, with a carefully planned intervention to preserve the original façades whilst introducing comfort, functionality and contemporary quality.

The homes have been designed to maximise natural light, with south-facing balconies and an interior layout that clearly separates the communal areas from the private zones. The building will also feature access points adapted for people with reduced mobility.

Outside, the courtyard will be converted into a private parking area, providing one or two spaces (depending on the apartment).
